FAQ
-
Correct — a standard Web3Swap order skips login and ID upload. You still use a normal wallet. Keep the Exchange ID only if you may reopen the ticket inside 24 hours; it is an order handle, not a user profile.
-
Status stays on awaiting deposit until the send rail hits the confirmation depth printed on that ticket. Credit is automatic; Web3Swap does not ask for a second form once coins appear.
-
Payout often leaves minutes after the deposit is final. Busy mempools or an underpriced send fee are the usual delays — not a compliance hold.
Two chains set the timeline. Web3Swap does not park the order behind an account review between deposit and payout.
-
When a ticket cannot finish, recovery still keys off the Exchange ID — not a username.
- Failed states show on the order page; you never open a Web3Swap login just to report them.
- Recovered coins go to an address you nominate (often the send-from wallet), minus network fees when they apply.
- Support looks up the Exchange ID alone — there is no profile search.
Message [email protected] or SimpleX with that ID if the ticket looks stuck.
-
Send the Exchange ID, deposit txid if you have it, both rail badges, and a clear order-page capture.
That package is enough inside the 24-hour window. Web3Swap has no account username to look up.
-
- Prefer a plain wallet send. Contract calls, DEX routers, and batch relays often fail to credit the ticket.
- Broadcast the exact amount on-screen — over/under can stall detection.
About Web3Swap
-
Web3Swap is a one-order crypto exchange: pick a pair, paste a receive address, and broadcast from the wallet you control. There is no Web3Swap account, no KYC file, and no standing balance in your name. Payout starts after the deposit reaches the depth printed on that order.
The same wallet-to-wallet flow covers majors, stables, and privacy coins. The quote is on screen before you send. Save the Exchange ID if you might reopen the page inside 24 hours.
-
The job is a single transfer with the rate visible up front — not a trading account you have to KYC and fund.
1. The number first.
Fixed or float is shown with the service fee already in the quote. You broadcast only after you accept that figure.2. No queue for a profile.
There is nothing to register. If a payout looks stuck, the desk uses the Exchange ID, not a user login.3. One deposit, one payout.
Paste the destination, send the exact amount to the order address, and Web3Swap pushes the receive asset.4. Any device.
The widget is built to run in a browser — phone or desktop — without an app install.5. No ID file.
Web3Swap does not ask you to upload documents to open a swap. -
Web3Swap is used as a no-account route: you never fund a site wallet. Support is available over email and SimpleX with the Exchange ID. Orders are not kept as a lasting user profile.
Independent reviews sit on the usual public platforms — they are not a substitute for matching the network badge before you broadcast.
-
Example: Bitcoin out, Ethereum in.
- Step 1. In Send, choose Bitcoin and the amount. Web3Swap shows the ETH you would receive (fixed or float).
- Step 2. Paste or scan the Ethereum address that should get the payout, then confirm the order.
- Step 3. Broadcast the exact BTC amount to the deposit on that order page. After Bitcoin depth, ETH is pushed to the address from step 2.
Keep the Exchange ID for the 24-hour window. There is no Web3Swap login that can recover the page later.
Exchange mechanics
-
Fixed rate
Lock in the price shown when you create your order — that is the amount you will receive.
- 0.8% service fee + network fee.
- The quoted rate is held for 10 minutes.
- If the market moves more than 1% before your payment appears on the blockchain, you can request a refund or continue at the current market rate.
Important: Your payment must arrive within 10 minutes, and the amount sent must exactly match your order. Otherwise, you will be prompted to refund or continue at the market rate.
Float rate
The final rate is set once your payment receives the required blockchain confirmations. If the market goes up, you receive more; if it goes down, you receive less.
- 0.4% service fee + network fee.
- The final rate is determined within 10 minutes after your transaction reaches the required confirmations.
Example: You swap 1 BTC for an estimated 40.214535 ETH by Web3Swap. With a fixed rate, you receive exactly 40.214535 ETH. With a float rate, the ETH amount can be higher or lower depending on changes in the market rate.
-
You can choose from two exchange strategies:
- Fixed rate: Web3Swap fee 0.8% + network fee. The exchange rate is fixed at the time of order creation.
- Float rate: Web3Swap fee 0.4% + network fee. The exchange rate is set only after your transaction arrives and is confirmed by the network. The order amount may change from the moment the order was created due to changes in the market rate, both up and down.
The network fee is a payment to miners for processing a transaction, its amount is individual for each blockchain.
-
After your deposit is seen and reaches the confirmations that order requires, Web3Swap broadcasts the payout to the address you pasted. Wait time follows the two chains in the pair, the fee you paid to send, and mempool load — not a manual review. Quiet pairs often finish in a few minutes; congested rails take longer.
-
Web3Swap cannot credit a swap until the send chain includes your tx at the required depth. A cheap fee can leave the deposit unconfirmed for a long time. The order does not skip that wait. Raise the fee in your wallet (RBF where the chain allows) if the tx is stuck in the mempool.
-
Each chain has its own fee market. Paying more than the wallet’s default usually raises inclusion priority. Most wallets already suggest a sane fee — do not cut it to “save” if you need the Web3Swap payout soon.
On Bitcoin or Ethereum, RBF (or the chain’s equivalent) can bump a stuck send. Web3Swap does not control miner/validator inclusion of your deposit.
-
The string must match the receive asset and network on that order. An Ethereum 0x address will not validate for Tron TRC-20, and a Bitcoin bech32 string will not validate for Litecoin. Change the receive coin/network, or paste an address your wallet actually generated for that rail.
Orders & follow-up
-
Status on the Web3Swap order page updates as the chain reports the deposit and payout. Leave the tab open if you can. Explorer links appear once txs are in the mempool or a block. The Exchange ID is the only handle if you close the page.
-
If the deposit never arrives before the order window ends, the order page (while it still exists) typically lets you:
- Continue at a float rate once the late deposit confirms; or
- Request a refund of what arrived, minus the network fee the chain charges, to an address you name.
Write support with the Exchange ID if the 24-hour page is already gone.
-
- Browser history may still open the same URL inside the 24-hour window.
- Otherwise email [email protected] or SimpleX with the Exchange ID. There is no account login that lists old swaps.
-
Orders are not a user archive. Web3Swap drops the page 24 hours after creation so there is no lasting profile. Copy the Exchange ID while the order is live if you might need the desk to look it up.
